Planning for a year’s worth of vegetables may seem overwhelming. And, it most certainly can be. Today, I am sharing some of my favorite varieties that help us reach our goal of growing a year’s supply of our own organic, nutrient rich vegetables.
I love shopping local when I can, specifically our local MFA. If you live in the midwest, MFA is one of my favorite farm stores. They have a decent selection and their prices are more than fair.
But for varieties that are more uncommon, specialty varieties, certain hybrids, I source from a few other online stores.
Here is a list of both tried and true varieties, as well as a few new varieties we will be growing this growing season.
